In 2012, the airport hosts 70 million passengers taking the position of world’s 3rd busiest airport by passenger numbers. Heathrow is the major hub for British Airways and Virgin Atlanta. The airport consists of five passenger terminals and a cargo terminal. There are two runways measuring 3,902 m and 3,660 m in length in the direction - 09L/27R and 09R/27L. A wide range of services and facilities are also equipped at the airport.
