Driving is on the left side of the road and steering wheel is on the right side of the vehicle.
Tourists are advised not to drink and drive and rent a car with a driver in case there are plans to visit nightclubs.
Tourists should be careful and alert about two-wheelers (lots of them), animals crossing the road, ice-cream carts and vegetable vendors, overtaking that takes place from both sides, locals not using indicators and brake lights, lots of honking, and vehicles using only one headlight at night.
Tourists are advised to top up the fuel tank at every petrol station lest they run out of fuel and are forced to use adulterated fuel in 1-litre plastic bottles sold on the roadside.
