The coastal city of Diu in the Union Territory of Daman and Diu is situated towards the south of Gujarat state in India. It is linked through roadways to Gujarat and Maharashtra. Diu airport, located around 7 km from the city also operates flights to metropolitan cities in India. There is no rail head directly connecting to Diu, the nearest rail station is Veraval, which is around 90 km from the city.
