Log on to the IndiGo Website and click on View/Change bookings on the homepage. One of the listed features here allows you to cancel your flight. You can also connect with the IndiGo Call Centre or go to IndiGo’s Airport Counter.

What else does View/Change bookings let me do?

Other than cancelling your flight, you can ask for your refund through this feature. Refunds through this feature will be processed only for tickets booked on the IndiGo website.

Can I use my cancelled ticket later?

No. But you can retain the balance after deduction of applicable charges as a Credit Note or Credit Shell for your next booking. The Credit Note or Credit Shell can be redeemed in the future but only for reservations made on the Indigo website or through the IndiGo call centre, and only for the same passenger for whom the ticket was cancelled.

Till when can I cancel my booking online and get a refund?

2 hours before flight departure for domestic flights OR

4 hours before flight departure on international flights

How much will cancelling an IndiGo flight cost me?

When cancelling a domestic flight, you will be charged INR 3,000 or the airfare charge (whichever is lower).

For an international flight it will cost you INR 6,000 or the airfare charge (whichever is lower).

Will I be notified in the event of a cancellation?

Yes. If you have included an SMS-capable mobile phone number in your booking details, then IndiGo will contact you in advance through a message to your mobile phone. You will also be informed through your registered email address.

What is IndiGo Airlines’ cancellation policy?

Broadly speaking, IndiGo reserves the right to cancel a flight with or without prior notice. IndiGo does not connect to other airlines and is not responsible for itineraries that connect to or from other airlines. Also, the airline does not provide additional benefits to passengers in case of cancellation. Refunds

Will I get a refund if I cancel my IndiGo flight?

Yes. You will get a refund for your booking if your cancellation is made within the stipulated time period which is as follows:

2 hours before flight departure for domestic flights OR

4 hours before flight departure on international flights

Indigo flight cancellation charges will be applicable on the refund amount. In case the ticket is not cancelled within the stipulated time, No Show charges will also be applied.

How long does it take to get the refund for a cancelled ticket?

After the applicable cancellation fee is deducted, it takes up to 7 working days to process the refund for a cancelled IndiGo ticket.

How do I get a refund for a booking paid for in cash?

All cash refunds can be processed at the domestic airport counter except when the payment has been made at the international airport counter. In that case, you will have to get in touch with the airline at customer.relations@goindigo.in.

How do I get a refund for a booking made through a travel agency?

The airline will send the refund to the agency’s account once your ticket cancellation has been processed. You can then contact the travel agency and claim your refund.
