Some cities in the vicinity – Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi and Bangkok – seem to be the subject of more new routes than other cities. Thailand offers a convenient visa on arrival passage to Indian travelers while Hong Kong requires Indians to complete an online pre-arrival registration before visiting Hong Kong visa free. Abu Dhabi is a direct flight from at least 14 Indian cities, and a 3 hour one from Mumbai. Though each of these three destinations has their own best time to visit – usually between October and February – December is the common month to head to all. Winter vacation plans, anyone?
