Right on the Promenade des Anglais, this hotel faces the Mediterranean Sea. It is a few steps from the Old Town and offers a panoramic rooftop terrace and an outdoor swimming pool. The hotel was renovated in 2020.

Oh what a view!

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in an ocean view suite. The rooms are a little dated but well maintained, which is why it is classed as a 4 star vs. a 5 star, given its location. The location and views being right on the Promenade are spectacular, making morning coffee or enjoying evening wine a thing of beauty! The breakfast at this hotel was good but the staff working there (or at the bar on the roof when we arrived) didn’t seem very attentive, seeming to “float around” leading you to constantly flag them down. Not a deal breaker but having just come from Marriott’s London Park Lane, the service level at Le Meridien was definitely a step down.
The pool itself is very small, so if you are expecting a large pool to lounge around and enjoy pool time, you will be disappointed. That said, with the ocean across the street access to a pool isn’t a priority.
Overall, a very nice hotel but starting to show its age in the rooms, the level of service is more relaxed but the location and the views are hard to beat.

Great home base for the Côte d’Azur!

This is a fantastic hotel with a great location. The views from the rooftop restaurant and the breakfast room are fabulous. Food was good, and the hotel is in wonderful condition. The staff members we encountered were friendly and efficient. If you rely on public transportation, it is a bit of a walk to tram stops and the train station.

Wonderful all around

Amazing location, great staff from reception to concierge ( Ahmad & Vanessa were truly accommodating) to housekeeping ( Nilu ) was super friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast too.

Excellent Service and a Wonderful Stay at Le Méridien Nice

Excellent stay at Le Méridien Nice! The location is fantastic, but what really made our stay special was the outstanding service. Ahmed and Nikola at Guest Services and Reception were exceptionally friendly, professional, and helpful. Ahmed also arranged a table for us at Le Bistrot d’Antoine, which turned out to be a wonderful experience.

Excellent hotel

Excellent hotel, once again. Location good, public areas very nice. Room was all that was promissed. And housekeeping was excellent. Especially we want to thank Nilu from housekeeping! You made our vacation perfect!
