We will definitely be back

Stayed here recently and would definitely go back. The hotel is superbly situated for the beach and the local bars and restaurants of Skala which are roughly a 10 min walk away. The hotel is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The pool, sun loungers and bar area offer enough space for everyone to enjoy the sunshine or shade. The hotel does offer sunbeds on the beach and drink service. Breakfast serves a good variety of food with different hot foods each day. The rooms are well cleaned and looked after and towels and bedding changed every couple of days. Lastly and most importantly the staff. Who, in my opinion, make your stay at this hotel so enjoyable and are the reason we will return again in the future. We were looked after by Katarina, Albie, Jimmy, Emme and all of the team so well and nothing was too much trouble, they really are a credit to the hotel. Thank you.

Nice clean room for 3 with sea view though the size of the room was small.
Lovely breakfast too!

Makis has a fab location right across from a shingle beach and very close to the village of Skala. It’s beautifully decorated and the room we had was spacious and very clean. The bed was huge and super comfortable. Sheets and towels were changed regularly and the room cleaned daily. We loved the vibe at the beach bar and their great Hugo Spritz’s. Staff were really friendly and keen to help. We had a great stay all round.

Superb small hotel with exceptional staff.

Beautiful small hotel, ideal position very clean spotless rooms lovely choice for breakfast. All staff very friendly, the owner Lia personally supervises her lovely hotel and should be very proud of it.
We attended a Greek night during our stay which was fabulous so much food and great entertainment.
We will definitely be returning next year.
Thanks to all staff for a great stay.

Absolutely wonderful

Just returned from 5 nights at this hotel, it is wonderful. The hotel is small but perfect - clean, beautiful surroundings- the rooms were small but had everything you needed, clean and extremely comfortable.
Only criticism would be the tea making facilities are not re stocked every day !
The pool is smaller than what you would expect but absolutely fine - no sunbed wars - just really chilled. The beach is literally across the road. The hotel charge 15 euros for 2 sunbeds and 2 bottles of water, they also offer food and drinks on the beach.
Breakfast was simple but absolutely adequate- the bar food is lovely.
The hotel is literally a five minute walk from bars and restaurants where you have ample choice for food.
The staff are so friendly- nothing is too much trouble.
The hotel put on a Greek night on Thursday evening for 28 euro amazing food and great entertainment- fabulous evening-
If you want a chilled holiday with great food, great service and great choice I don’t think you will be disappointed if you book here.
