What to see & do
A beautiful town perched on the banks of the Aegean coast of Turkey, Bodrum makes a spectacular getaway for anyone looking to have a break away from their hectic bustling lives. Before the influx of tourism into this flourishing city, Bodrum was a quaint fishing village. Now, however, many celebrities have graced the golden beaches of Bodrum and resided in one of its many top-notch all-encompassing resorts such as the exceptional Kempinski Barbaros Bay. Nonetheless, relics of the olden days can still be found throughout the city, such as the imposing Castle of St Peter which shadows the riverbanks. It still remains one of the town’s top attractions given its majestic aura, and visitors are welcome to walk through its grounds. In this city, too, visitors can experience al fresco dining right by the turquoise sea, or perhaps take a boat out and explore nature at its pristine best.
