Las Vegas, which is simply known as Vegas in Nevada, is tagged as ‘Entertainment Capital off the world’. Located in the Las Vegas Valley in county seat of Clark County, Las Vegas is an internationally claimed resort city exceptionally popular for its gambling, shopping, fine dining and nightlife opportunities. Months of June through September are the summer months and are very hot and dry with an average temperature of 33.6 °C. The city has a very short and mild winter and December is the coolest month. Humidly remain below 10% for most part of the year as rainfall is not very common. The months from March to May and from September to November are the best time to visit he city, however this time the prices of hotels also skyrocket. Desert Hops Nevada & International Beer Festival in August, Rocky Mountain Gun Show in September and Annual Art in the Park in October are some of the major festivals held in Las Vegas.

City Attractions

Mega Casino hotels, luxurious resort and bustling nightlife are some of the major attractions that attract tourists to Las Vegas. But besides these loud and bright attractions, there are some very peaceful and charming attractions that too catch the attention of the holiday makers. The 2.5 mile long central section of Las Vegas, which is also known as ‘The Strip’ is the where all the excitement happens. Lined with huge entertainment palace and luxurious hotels, visit this street during the night when the long sequences of glittering neon signs illuminate this street. Located downtown of Las Vegas, the Fremont Street is a pedestrian only seat and is illustrious for its Fremont Street Experience, where each night canopy of LED lights up the four block section of the street and fantastic music and visual show takes place overhead. Take a Gondola ride is the best way to see the finest hotels in Las Vegas, the Venetian Hotel. Passengers are taken through the shopping arcade inside the hotel on a ride by their personable gondolier.
