Menorca, which is also spelt as Minorca is of the most exotic holiday destinations in Spain. The island of Menorca specializes in Mediterranean cuisine and it is the most famous food option served in almost all the restaurant. Caldereta de langosta, Menorcan-Style Stuffed Aubergines, Oliaigu, Sípia amb fesols, Sobrassada, Pastissets and varieties of cured sausages are among the local delicacies one should try here. The island is believed to have originated Mayonnaise, so picking a bottle is a must. The island does not boast of magnanimous shopping malls or many high end boutiques. The humble neighbored market or various street shops and flea markets are the safest bets when planning a shopping expedition in Menorca.
