When is the 2027 Cricket World Cup?
The 2027 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup is scheduled to take place from 4 October to 21 November 2027, with matches across South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia.
Where will the 2027 Cricket World Cup be held?
The tournament takes place in October and November, which falls in spring for the Southern hemisphere, so pack layers and sun protection for temperamental weather conditions.
In Cape Town, October and November average daytime highs reach around 23–24°C and lows of roughly 12–13°C. It is relatively dry but the city can be noticeably windy, with average winds around 35–39 km/h.
Johannesburg is warmer during the day, with average highs of around 26°C in both October and November, but evenings can still feel cool at around 12–13°C. Spring also marks the start of the wetter season, so afternoon showers and thunderstorms become more common, particularly in November.
In Harare, expect warmer, generally dry conditions in October, with average highs around 29°C, followed by an increase in rainfall and humidity in November as the summer rainy season begins.
Windhoek is hotter and much drier, with average daytime highs of about 32°C in October and 32°C in November, low humidity and relatively little rain, although November starts to see a slight increase in rainfall.

There are currently no nonstop flights between India and the three World Cup host countries. From India, many routes connect through the UAE, particularly Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi (AUH).
