1. About this offer
The Skyscanner best price guarantee ("Guarantee") is offered by Skyscanner Limited ("Skyscanner", "we", "us", "our") to help travellers book with confidence.
If you complete a qualifying flight booking through Skyscanner during the Claim Period and submit a valid claim for the same flight at a lower publicly available price in the same Booking Currency within 24 hours of the booking confirmation time, we'll refund the difference, subject to the eligible market maximum in Section 8.
2. Offer Period
The Guarantee is a limited time offer available only in Canada, India, the United Kingdom and the United States, during the Claim Period set out below, and only where the offer is displayed to an eligible traveller before they redirect to complete their booking.
Claim Period:
The Claim Period starts at 00:00 UK local time (London) on 5 October 2026 and ends at 23:59 UK local time (London) on 16 October 2026. A booking qualifies only if it is completed during that period.
All flight routes may be eligible during the trial, but coverage applies only to a booking for which the Guarantee was displayed before redirect and all other requirements in these Terms are met.
For a qualifying booking completed during the Claim Period, the claim form must be submitted within 24 hours of the booking confirmation time. The 24 hour claim deadline may fall after the Claim Period ends.
Eligibility begins only when the offer is displayed to you before you redirect to complete your booking.
If the offer displayed to you states that account access is required, you must be signed in to your Skyscanner account when you select the covered booking option and redirect to the travel provider.
The Guarantee must be displayed for that itinerary while you are signed in, and you must submit any claim using the same Skyscanner account. You do not need to remain signed in after redirecting, and no separate activation is required. The account holder or a traveller named in the qualifying booking must make the claim.
A booking does not qualify if the Guarantee was not displayed for that booking, even if the Guarantee was available in another market, placement or experiment variant at the same time.
Skyscanner may amend, pause or withdraw the Guarantee in any market at any time.
A claim relating to a qualifying booking completed before a change, pause or withdrawal will still be processed under the Terms that applied when the booking was completed, provided the claim is submitted within the 24-hour deadline.
3. Eligibility
To qualify for the Guarantee, you must:
be aged 18 or older and resident in Canada, India, the United Kingdom or the United States;
have completed a qualifying flight booking through a Skyscanner website;
have selected the lowest-priced option displayed by Skyscanner for that itinerary at the time of booking;
submit your claim within 24 hours of the booking confirmation time;
provide the required supporting evidence (see Section 6); and
limit yourself to one successful claim per traveller during the Claim Period.
4. Like-for-like comparison requirements
The cheaper fare you find must match your Skyscanner booking exactly, including:
the same airline and flight number(s);
the same departure and arrival airports, dates, and times;
the same fare class and rules, including baggage, refund and change conditions;
the same number and type of passengers; and
the same payment conditions and currency.
If any of these details differ, the claim will not qualify.
What "fare class" means: Each airline divides seats into fare classes (for example Economy Light, Economy Flex, Premium Economy, Business Saver, etc.), which determine the price and the rules attached to your ticket (such as baggage allowance, refundability and change fees).
To qualify for a refund under this Guarantee, the cheaper fare must be for the same fare class and conditions as your original booking.
5. Exclusions
The Guarantee does not apply to:
multi-city, open-jaw (for example, where your return flight departs from a different city than your arrival city), or mixed-provider itineraries;
corporate, student or military fares;
prices available on another travel site only after creating or signing in to an account, joining a membership or loyalty programme, subscribing to a service, using an app, receiving an invitation or meeting any other restricted access condition, whether or not the account, membership or access is free;
promo code, voucher or other discount code prices;
fares displayed or payable in a currency different from the Booking Currency, or apparent price differences caused by currency conversion or exchange-rate changes (see Section 7);
obvious error fares, manifest mispricing, or ancillary items such as baggage, seat selection, insurance or meals.
A requirement to be signed in to Skyscanner to receive Guarantee coverage does not make a restricted access price offered by an airline or other travel provider eligible for comparison.
6. How to make a claim
Submit your claim within 24 hours of the booking confirmation time using the online form.
Provide:
your full booking confirmation showing the price, provider and time of booking; and
a screenshot and URL of the same flight at a lower publicly available price (in the same currency), with the total price, date, time and currency clearly visible.
Skyscanner will review your claim within 15 working days and notify you of the outcome by email.
7. Currency and exchange rate differences
For these Terms, the “Booking Currency” is the currency in which the total price of your original booking was displayed and payable by the travel provider at checkout. It is not a different currency shown on your card or bank statement after conversion.
The lower fare must be displayed and payable in the same Booking Currency. We calculate the price difference by subtracting the lower total price from the original total price, without converting either price. Both totals must include the same mandatory taxes, booking or service fees, and included items.
A fare in another currency is not eligible, even if a conversion shown by a website, payment provider, card issuer or bank makes it appear cheaper. Currency conversion charges, dynamic currency conversion, card or bank fees, and exchange-rate movements are not included in the price comparison or refund.
8. Refund limits
Maximum refund per booking: GBP 200 / CAD 375 / INR 25,500 / USD 270. The applicable limit is determined by the Booking Currency and is not recalculated using an exchange rate at the time of the claim or refund.
Minimum eligible price difference: GBP 5 / CAD 10 / INR 650 / USD 7. The applicable threshold is determined by the Booking Currency and is not recalculated using an exchange rate.
Limit: one successful claim per traveller during the Claim Period.
Approved refunds are processed within 14 days of approval for the nominal price difference calculated in the Booking Currency, subject to the applicable maximum refund.
If your bank, card issuer, payment provider or receiving account converts the refund into another currency, you are responsible for any conversion rate, fee or difference in the amount ultimately received.
9. Verification and misuse
Skyscanner may request additional evidence to verify any claim. Incomplete, inaccurate or falsified submissions will be rejected.
We may suspend access to the Guarantee if users submit repeated invalid claims or misuse the offer.
10. Payment
We will issue an approved refund for the nominal amount calculated in the Booking Currency. We are not responsible for bank processing delays or for any currency conversion, exchange-rate difference or fee applied by your bank, card issuer, payment provider or receiving account.
11. Your Data
To review and process your Skyscanner best price guarantee claim, we'll need to collect some personal data (for example, your name, contact details, booking information, and any evidence you send us to support your claim).
If your claim is approved, we may also ask for your bank or payment details so we can send you the refund.
We’ll handle your personal data in line with data protection laws and our Privacy Policy which explains how we collect, use, share and protect your data, and the rights you have over it.
12. General
The Guarantee is a goodwill offer and does not affect your statutory rights.
Skyscanner may amend, pause or withdraw the Guarantee at any time.
A claim relating to a qualifying booking completed before the change, pause or withdrawal will be processed under the Terms that applied when the booking was completed, provided it is submitted within the 24 hour deadline.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. However, you retain any non-waivable consumer rights under the laws of your country of residence.
