Comfortable stay and great restaurant.

I went to work at the university campus, which is next door, which is quite convenient.
My room was on the 2nd floor and facing the inner courtyard (recommend) which made it very quiet. The accommodation is very spacious room and living room, with a small cup and a comfortable bathroom. Air conditioning Sprite and good internet, perfect p work.
Breakfast was good, with fruits, juices, eggs and bacon, bread and colds. You could only start earlier, so you could better meet your working hours. But with the traffic from Luanda vc will arrive almost always late even... :-)
For lunch and dinner the restaurant is great. Not a very traditional dish, but it has a good menu. Beautiful dishes, well presented and delicious. Attentive and friendly staff.
The hotel is very close to the old airport, which made my arrival and departure peaceful. On the next trip, you must have changed everything to the new and much larger international airport.
The proximity of the hotel does not inspire much confidence, and in fact, I always left the hotel with the university driver. The environment has great works and should change for the better soon.

Friendly hotel

I'll try to talk about everything I remember: rooms are the best part of the hotel, without a doubt. Very spacious, with a huge and comfortable living room and a good bedroom too, extremely comfortable bed. Both with air conditioning. Bathroom is also good and modern. Regarding breakfast, it's simple, but I wouldn't consider it to be a 4-star hotel. Breakfast has bread (the quality is not very good, it is packaged bread and the other is hard), butter and strawberry jam, cheese, ham, scrambled eggs (not the typical good hotel eggs, they leave a lot to be desired) , sausages, mushrooms, 2 or 3 fruits, two or three cupcakes, star cereals, milk, coffee and packaged orange juice. The pool that the hotel says it has is a slightly larger “bathtub” and is not used for that reason… Regarding room service: good cover charge, good soup and I only remember these. We had a problem at the hotel because they had no internet from 10pm at night until 7am the next day… We insisted a lot because we would have to check in for the flight for the next day and arrange the transfer to the airport and several other things. After much insistence, the manager offered us his phone for an x period of time so we could connect to the internet, but it only worked for 15 minutes. When we checked out, the room service fee was removed from our account, which we were very grateful for due to the incident the night before, so they knew how to deal with the situation in a positive way given what happened Additionally, the staff is everyone was very polite and helpful. If you face the part of the park there is always a noise around midnight/one in the morning that we couldn't understand what it was but we young people didn't bother us... Police and security were always at the door, day and night. Generally speaking: I went with a friend, we were 2 people and we enjoyed it as we went to visit the wonderful city of Luanda and so the hotel was just for sleeping, showering and having breakfast. And in that sense, if that's all there is to it (and being satisfied with a mediocre hotel breakfast) the hotel is great! But it has absolutely no leisure facilities... The pool and social areas are very scarce... It's a good hotel if your goal is to just have breakfast, go out and sleep. 3/4 minutes from the airport and 10/15 minutes from the center of Luanda.

BIG DEAL BREAKER

I stayed for almost 2 weeks, people are very nice, room ok, clean, good location, nice restaurant. But A BIG DEAL BREAKER, they are increibly strict about not allowing outside food at the hotel, not even water! Each room has a small fridge, i dont know why, they even make you sign a document saying they will charge you over 50 dollars if they find out. So I talked to the front desk to insist that after a 10 days I was bored with the same food. But the security guard made me go outside almost to the streeth to receive my delivery. The staff was very apologetic and I am sure it's not their fault. This policy is absurd and I am pretty sure is against the law, what about jewish people? Or allergies? Or vegan? Lactose intolerance? I am not saying to buy a supermatket but basic stuff, a yogurt, water in the middle of the night, lactose free milk! Please hire a serious economic analysis to find out how much bussiness you are loosing for that policy.

Great improvement

I stayed here a couple of times in 2012. At that time it was a very simple hotel with very basic rooms and a very basic breakfast. Things have changed. Forum has been completely renovated. This time I stayed here with two other colleagues, who had visited Forum too in 2012. Our rooms were great. Spacious, clean, well furnished, surely more than a standard hotel room. Bathroom looks good. Unfortunately the showerhead was not fixed properly, so it had to be handheld. All three of us had the same problem. Breakfast is fine. Service is good. We payed about € 100 per night (with some reduction), and this is good value for money.

Very good location
