A lovely place to spend a few days

A lovely place to spend a few days. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, a good breakfast and friendly staff. One point of concern is the elevator. It's limited in space and heavily used during peak hours. Because you can't take the stairs to the ski room - at least, I didn't see them - it often takes a long time.

Regarding your point about the elevator: We know it can get quite busy during the "rush hour" when everyone is heading to the slopes at the same time. You actually found a little hidden path challenge there – for safety and organizational reasons, the main staircase is primarily for the guest floors, but there is indeed a way to reach the ski room area more quickly. Next time you're here, just ask me or one of the Buddys, and we’ll show you the fastest "climber's route" to your gear! ‍♂️⛷️
Since you enjoyed the comfort of the hotel, for your next trip I highly recommend checking out the Grasjoch area. It offers some of the most scenic and sporty runs in the Montafon. Or, if you're looking for something unique, try a sunset walk at the Kristberg – the atmosphere there is truly magical. ️✨

Had a great stay, the breakfast buffet was the best I've ever had and included a self cook egg station. You cannot really walk to the ski lift though. It's a bus ride to the silvretta bahn but the bus stops at the hotel.

Can't go wrong with Explorer Hotels

I've been to the Explorer Hotels several times before, so I pretty much already knew what to expect. Clean and modern rooms, amazing breakfast and great service. And that's exactly what I got from the Montafon location as well. Would recommend 10/10 and I'll be back to one or many more Explorer locations again for my friends annual hiking weekends :)

excellent service, good value for money

I`ve been here with a friend and my dog for two nights ... the stuff was very friendly, especially Coco (my dog has never been treated so nicely in a hotel than by him), really good breakfast (good variety, good quality - organic, with stove top to make yourself e.g. scrambled eggs - so it was fresh and warm and not like in many other hotels from a pot where everything is already cold by the time you arrive at breakfast), rooms very nice as well and the beds comfy! we would come here again!
