Recommend to travelers this hotel

Were in late October. Very kind staff. We checked in quickly, though we arrived late at night. The room is clean, not new, but it has everything. For breakfast, the choice of buffet - there are vegetables and fruits and several kinds and pancakes and hot. Very delicious omelet.
Stunning location - practically in the most historic city centre.
And the availability of parking is also a definite plus

Clean, inexpensive, convenient location

Hotel Planet chose on the principle of proximity to the place of taking the exam, for which I came to Minsk. But besides, the hotel is very convenient to reach from the station. 15 minutes on bus number 69. The city centre can be reached on foot or by several buses. The hotel itself is unremarkable. But most importantly, it's clean, and the beds are comfortable and conducive to good sleep. Breakfasts are very satisfying. Enough for two.
I would like to point out one shortcoming. Rooms are hot and need airing. The windows do not open upwards. You can only open it wide open. Not very comfortable.

If you've ever felt the Soviet era, this is the hotel.

In front of the hotel is a lush garden on a gentle downhill slope, with a view of the winding Svisloch River beyond. There is a promenade along the river, where couples, families and dog walkers can enjoy uninterrupted walks.
Just a stone's throw away is an area where many Wakano gather for shopping malls, movie theaters and restaurants, which is especially nice for those who have had a busy night.
Furthermore, most of the tourist attractions in Minsk can be reached on foot from the hotel.
The hotel has over 300 rooms, with objects on display at the front desk to celebrate its 45th anniversary. There is a clock on the front wall that shows the time of major cities in the world, and surprisingly, there is also a clock that shows Tokyo time.
The chauffeur pull-up gave off a Soviet-era feel, which in turn made me feel nostalgic, and now it is a very valuable hotel.
From the front desk to the cleaning staff, the staff is very attentive, which, combined with the Soviet-era atmosphere, makes for a great place to stay.
The rooms are clean and not over-equipped, while everything you need is fully equipped, including hairdryers and shamps. There are no plastic bottles of water in the room, but there is a cold and hot water dispenser in front of the elevator.
For breakfast, we have several sausages and they taste really good. I ate less vegetables, but I ate the big tomatoes and cucumbers. It will be crowded on weekends, so be prepared to share seats.
Minsk, where nights are high, is very cost-effective, costing less than Y10,000 with breakfast, and the majority of guests, knowing this, are Russian, and sometimes full.
A very well-balanced hotel and a satisfying stay in Minsk.

Only positive experience with stopover in Minsk

Flexible treatment by personnel, ergonomically organized facilities in the room, delicious breakfast (took it away), great location. Rooms need som e renovation
