Decent airport hotel about 10 min from Sofia airport

We did an overnight on arrival due to personal choice to travel onwards next day

Nightmare Experience

I strongly advise against staying at this hotel if you're visiting Sofia. Despite claiming to be a welcoming establishment for international guests, the reality is far from it and utterly unacceptable.
The breakfast was one of the worst I've ever had: a meager selection, poor quality, and served in a depressing dining area. To make matters worse, the tablecloths were constantly stained and rarely changed.
But things took a turn for the absurd when I asked the night porter for a bottle of water at 9 PM, only to be told to drink from the bathroom tap. When I politely declined for hygiene reasons, he suggested I go to a self-service store 10 minutes away on foot - in -12°C weather. Unbelievable.
This hotel's behavior is shameful and shows a complete lack of respect for its customers. I had hoped for a pleasant stay, but this was a nightmare.

The hotel said there was no shuttle even though the Hotels.com site there was one.

Good choice for a short stay in Sofia

Stayed here for one night due to a late flight arrival before continuing our trip in Bulgaria the next day. Very good choice instead of the hotels that are a bit closer to the airport. Nice, spacious and quiet rooms. Food at the rooftop bar and restaurant was good. We especially liked that they had rooms for three people since we were travelling two adults and one child.
