The location is good and the value is there. The rooms are not fancy and everything is a bit dated but the bed is comfy and compared to other hotels, there is still some value here.

I stayed at the Mods for the Foo Fighters concert. The photos on the website show an older boutique hotel that looks like it has been nicely remodelled. In person the building is dated, the rooms are very average for what I paid (almost $400!) I assume the prices were jacked due to the concert but the Moda is not worth $400, absolutely insane. One positive is the location is perfect, close to everything.

First room we were given had mold in the shower, and the second room smelled heavily of smoke. The front desk staff was helpful in trying to help us through the issues, but we decided to leave and book elsewhere.

Parking was confusing and the safe didn’t work. Location was excellent very convenient. The building was a very unique historical building.

Room was ok for 2 night pre cruise stay. Wouldn't dream of booking if we weren't going on the cruise. Very average 70's.
