Modern, Clean and Surprisingly Comfortable

I had a really good stay here. The hostel is modern, clean and in a great location.
The rooms were a good size, and I really liked that each bed had its own door you could close for extra privacy. The bathrooms were also surprisingly nice for a hostel, although the hot water did run out occasionally.
It’s a smaller hostel, which gives it a more relaxed feel. Overall, a great place to stay if you’re looking for somewhere clean, comfortable and well located.

We wanted to love it here but we couldn’t sleep or have breakfast.

We were disappointed with our stay in Bindi Hostel. Although the hostel itself is clean and modern. We had a private room and it was so noisey outside that we literally couldn’t sleep on both nights. There are cars, horses, people, buses, construction, angle grinders and cement mixers on the go outside and because the access to the outside is not a sealed sliding door it feels like your bed is in the middle of the road. We also wanted breakfast on both mornings of our stay and both times when we went up to get it there was no one to be found in the kitchen area. 8am one day and 10am the next. The location is excellent but we could not sleep here. The construction is only starting outside the rooms. All private rooms are on the road side.

The room was a little icky if I’m being honest. Staff seemed okay, not as friendly as I expected. I was also charged twice accidentally. They payed me back in cash but I had to wait for them to accumulate it and got it in my last night. I’d say my biggest gripe was the cleanliness. Not sure I’ll go back to a hostel unfortunately. Location however was incredible.

The rooms were clean and modern, we booked a private one. If you're on the ground floor near the window, be prepared for the sound of motorbikes passing by at night, though we eventually got used to it. The TV was large and perfect for watching Netflix in the evenings, or you could head up to the rooftop bar to socialize. Highly recommend, and we'd absolutely stay here again!
