Gorgeous feeling of ancient history

Great place for those who want to experience some old times. Sleeping between Roman Empire walls. Fast access to all the historical and entertainment attractions of Split. The location may be cheaper than the others in the area, but it has a charm of an ancient times, and price can not be calculated.

Put this idiot out of business and in jail!!!

This evil man cannot be bothered to do his job. Doesn’t show up to open the door and leaves people stranded in the street. Has abusive and aggressive immigrants creeping around. Do not stay here!!!!!

Avoid

The stench of humidity in the air, a shameful breakfast to poison yourself, the only good is location and the jacuzzi, which is forbidden to be used after 11 in the evening...avoid...

The check-in was horrible and the suite was worse.

The check-in was horrible and the suite was worse. If you are planning to travel to Split, you are right, the city is beautiful but run away from this hotel. My friend and I had booked a month before we came. We saw that the check in was between 2 and 3 pm but we asked if it was possible to come between 8 and 9 pm because we are doing a road trip in Croatia and we try to enjoy each city to the maximum. Having never had an answer we came for 14:30 (and yes we did not want to sleep outside...) And the disasters begin... We arrive in front of the hotel with our suitcases when a lady goes out. We try to enter but she blocks us and tells us that she is the manager and that it is not possible that we have a room here because she sold the last one. I answer her nicely that we had already made the reservation and that I have the confirmation. But she doesn't want to know anything. She only repeats to us that no we did not book, that it is an error of booking. I tell her "ok if it's a mistake but call the operator or help us". Still nothing we have no reservation according to her and she comes back and slams the door in our face. My friend and I are shocked, especially since she never asked us for our name or reservation number. We started to call booking to know what to do and she came out and attacked us: "it's not worth calling Booking, I don't have a room for you, you should have booked, go see elsewhere there are much better and cheaper rooms". That's what we should have done! But I told her that we had made a reservation and that she only had to show me her reservations. We went in and the first reservation on her computer was mine... Of course, if she had asked for the name! Then the room was horrible: - False advertising, we had booked a large room with jacuzzi according to the photos posted on booking and we arrived in a very small room without jaccuzzu. False advertising is prohibited by the European Union. -Tiny room we walk on it no place to leave his suitcase open. - 17 degrees in the room on arrival. Was it to make you sick or to hide the smell of mold and humidity? And yes ladies and gentlemen, it smelled musty. - Mold on the ceiling of the room with white paint to try to hide it. - Peeling paint on shower ceiling. - Shower curtain formerly white, now yellow/brown from mold and shower very small. It was horrible, we were afraid that the curtain would touch us while taking the shower. - The disgusting toilet brush covered in the feces of previous guests. - The electric plugs coming out of the walls, very dangerous risk of electrocution. - Towel dryer that will soon fall, the pegs are coming out of the wall. - Drinks and yogurt in the refrigerator (I specify anyway, refrigerator suspended from the ceiling above the sink of the bathroom / WC) at our arrival, surely previous customers so the refrigerator is not emptied between each customer ... Very hygienic especially in this time of Covid-19... And it does not stop there. Breakfast only starts at 9:30 am because, I quote the words of the receptionist, "I need to sleep". So at 9:30am her day starts and she finishes at 3pm. The day before our departure, we asked to have breakfast at 9:00 am the next day because we had a ferry to take. She told us that there was no problem. On the day, she warns us at 9:00 am that she was late... 9:20 am she sends us a message to tell us that the breakfast is ready while we had to leave at 30... So we took the breakfast outside. This lady is haughty and unpleasant. Go to Split it's beautiful but don't go here!

Disaster

Place was not properly cleaned with poor ventilation for that kind of place with jacuzzi inside cause it’s extremely strong damp smell, and there was a lot of moulds and it’s not good for health I had an allergy after staying there cause of all moulds. I complained for the owner that I can’t stay it that place because of all this facts and we talked with her and agreed that I’m going to stay here just for one night and she will return money for the next day but in the morning she changed her mind and said that she is not giving back money and also she was super rude.
Place was full of spider webs.
Place should be inspected by public health authority.
