Very nice stay for large families

This location was perfect for our extended family vacation where we had all 8 rooms spaced over 5 floors. While there are lots of steps, the terrace was perfect for hanging out. Ante and Andijana were superb hosts, especially in preparing for a two year old toddler. The location was only a one minute walk to Old Town, close to many restaurants.

Not an “apartment”

We were just one couple but booked the two bedroom apartment with private entrance and a terrace based on the fact that we wanted more space and a bathroom each.
There was no private entrance - it is shared by all the rooms in the building. The terrace is also shared. Even more surprising was that the second bedroom was on a completely different floor with a separate locked door and so this was not in any sense “an apartment.”
The living room/kitchen/bedroom was - in fact one small space - there was a sliding door which partitioned off the bed.
The only storage space for clothes was a”wardrobe” in the kitchen space which was set into the wall and you had to be over 6 ft tall to reach the rail!
Finally the bathroom only had a glass door which had some frosting but you could see through it which meant no privacy.
We stayed but I would not have chosen to book it if it had been more accurately described.

Nice place in Split

Nice apartment in a good location in Split. The Owner is very friendly and it has a nice terrace on the top floor. The room itself is compact, clean, trendy and comfortable. Our room also had a private terrace with sunbeds.

Hidden Gem - recommended

Stayed 3 days at this charming villa close to the town. We had the room on the first floor with a terrace. Creative touch with the city murals in the bedrooms.
The owner is extremely helpful, showing us the facilities, explaining the history of the building including the 1800 year old ruins and even sent WhatsApp links to local restaurants.
After check-out you can leave your bags in a secure area to collect later if required.
I am happy to recommend this place.

Refurbished Modern Flats with Amazing Location

Villa Galla in Split offers split level accommodation for large families in refurbished modern apartments with Wifi and TV. Andrijana Sucic and her husband are truly wonderful hosts and every ready to give you guidance and help organise for you - all just a telephone call away. The accommodation itself is 5 minutes walking from the Diocletian Palace which is typically Old Town in Split and 7 min from the main waterfront promenade with restaurants and shops. It truly makes for a wonderful stay when in Split.
