No major inconvenience

This was my first experience in a hostel mainly for fear of safety and comfort that I always imagined to be complex points in this type of accommodation. But it was just the opposite!
The location is relatively good, close to train and subway station and quiet to go to the old town walking. Near there is a kind of shopping center and several low-priced food stores. As for the facilities I must emphasize that the hostel does not have an elevator and a good part of the rooms is on the second floor (counting from the ground floor, so there are four steps). I stayed in a female room with four bedbeds, air conditioning and own bathroom. Despite the number of beds, the maximum I witnessed was 4 people counting on me. There is also a living area with sink, microwave, coffee maker and tables.
I also received lunch vouchers, which I used in two of the four days I stayed. You can choose between two Korean dishes bimbimbap and doenjang jjigae – vegetarian options available. A tip for Brazilians who don't know Korean food: if they're looking for "real food" more like what we eat in Brazil, choose the bimbimbap that is very similar to our executive dish with rice, vegetables, chicken and eggs without too strong spices.
Another important issue is about socialization. It may have been something special from my experience but despite the hostel events that promoted interactions among guests and a generally friendly atmosphere, I could not interact with virtually anyone. All guests were well closed, even the other women who shared room with me. I don't know if it was a cultural or linguistic barrier & they were all Koreans), and I didn't bother either, I just found it curious.

BESBUGS ! Avoid

BEDBUGS ! AVOID THIS PLACE
Saw bed bugs multiple times (including small ones → infestation). The owner did nothing: no room change, no refund. Even if I had pictures of it, for each different days. We had to sleep there hoping not to bring them home.
Do not book here !!!

Absolutely flee: even if the staff is kind, the hostel is infested with bedbugs!

The hostel has bedbugs. Despite telling the establishment they only cleaned the room and changed the sheets, the manager did not involve a disinfection company despite my reminders: no change of room or solution was offered to me. I was staying in room 12 for 3 days. Run away! Supporting photos (sent to the manager).

Very friendly staff - shout out to Dexter, who was super friendly and always smiling. The lunch was fantastic. Hostel is still under renovation, but should look great when it’s finished. I had a great stay here.
