Fresh and clean budget friendly hotel - good value for money

Excellent location in downtown Aalborg close to the railway- and bus station, Main Street, and water. Also nearby is the Friis Shopping Center that is the next building next from the hotel. Nearby is also huge supermarket Føtex.
I stayed for one night in a standard room that I only booked a couple of days prior but nevertheless got a very attractive rate when booking via the official CABINN hotels website.
The hotel is quite large with up to 300 rooms if I'm not mistaken and it was quite busy upon my arrival with a lot of guests since it was on a weekend but the atmosphere was relaxed and laid back. The hotel staff was very polite and friendly in the reception during both check in and later in the hotel bar.
The room was impeccable clean and everything was whole and working. The WiFi had a good strong signal and the TV worked well also. There is a kettle with cups and tea and coffee in the room too.
One thing where there is room for improvement is the shower whose faucet was really sensitive and as it was on the same pipe as the sink and the bathroom is quite small one risk being soaked from the shower when only intending to use the sink, so perhaps it can be adjusted to be less sensitive or have a better signage.
Over all I really liked this hotel and consider that it is good value for money and I can really recommend it when visiting Aalborg in Denmark.

Everything you need, good location and very friendly staff.

We just had a really good stay at Cabinn Aalborg. The place stands out for its very welcoming and friendly staff, its good location and the easy possibility of parking in Friis parking house booked and paid at the hotel and with the possibility of driving in and out and staying parked for the rest of the day after check-out at the hotel. Here is everything you need, but the space conditions of the rooms are quite narrow, so next time we prioritize one of the larger rooms although they are also quite small.

All was fine, the room was as expected, it was clean, personal was nice.
But I slept 4 hours because of a constant deep sound stopping and starting.
I think my room was next to the main air condition system or something, because even Turning off the air con in my room it kept going.
There was still a deep, like a mechanical pump going all throughout the night, starting and stopping in small bursts.

Very pleased.

For the price the room is what I expected. Two single beds in bunk bed, totally ok size, and nice bathroom. Everything I needed for a good stay. Breakfast is ok. Eggs that should not be mentioned, and chicken balls that are very good. There are also other various orders.

Hotel is ideally situated for city centre and train station. Single room was ideal and not so cramped as some budget hotels.
Breakfast was good with a fair selection.
