Hotel with soul and good location..

Three lovely days with good breakfast and barbecue buffet with wine menu:)
Lovely staff and nice relaxed atmosphere and good location close to Hammershus.

Disappointed

I have just returned home from a few days' stay at The Falcon Hotel. Unfortunately not with a good experience.
I don't think quality, price, and marketing are related. I experienced the room as being dusty with cobwebs and spiders, brown deposits in and on the toilet, as well as a leaky faucet. My clothes and belongings smell of earth after my stay.
The view from the room was breathtaking and the sunrise was just as much.

Disappointing experience

Overall a bad experience. Our overall impression is like living on a bad morale. We got a Superior hotel room, located in a very simple braken-like building above the main building itself. The room was neatly decorated and there was much listen in between the rooms, the beds were of simple quality. Outside the room there was a simple terrace with unshared seating area. The window in the room was without locking mechanism to keep the window in ventilation position. The terrace door knocked violently at the slightest movement. The bathroom was simple, water flowed out all over the bathroom from the shower. One day, the staff had entered the room without giving prior notice, and switched the shower armature to another of lower quality, without cleaning building dust from the floor in the tight open screw holes on the wall of the wet room.
The main building was great to look at on the outside but when one looks closer around the inside there was filthy, spindle tissue on several of the plants - which were also dead. The terrace outside the breakfast hall was characterized by lack of maintenance, bird-skit and filthy. The whole area was characterized by lack of maintenance. The staff was absent when we were there. We can't recommend the Falcon hotel.

Awsome location and a very clean and wellmaintained hotel.
Breakfast is fresh and a good variaty
The food in the restauarant is very tasety, even thou the selection on the menu is limited to the three course menu, which can be reduced to one or two courses.
But definatly a recommendable hotel

Cycling

It was a fantastic experience, a lovely place that cheers to the atmosphere, lovely surroundings, good rooms, good service and nice food. I would definitely recommend Falcon to the crowd coming to Bornholm. The location is also fantastic, and you sit and look out of the garden from both the garden and the terrace.
