Small nice hotel

Great location in Ribe just minutes from the square. Simple rooms clean and tidy. Had room with toilet and shower. Breakfast is good and several toppings are offered eggs, yoghurt etc. Very affordable as it is not included we recommend to buy with this. It is served in the nice pub located in the entrance. Very nice owners who take care of their guests in the best way. Parking 48 hours located 200 meters from the hotel approx.

The perfect location in Ribe

Cozy little authentic hotel with perfect location in relation to the city.
Nice breakfast - very friendly staff.
Parking at the hotel or at a large public parking lot nearby.

Positive

Maybe a 1 or 2 star hotel, but the host and her breakfast and kindness lift the place and you feel welcome. The room was of older date but nice and clean. We had rooms with private bathroom. As an old shippingman, their maritime living room is exciting.

Very difficult to sleep in

We had a family room for 4 with shared bathroom (with another room). Arriving in the room: a very painful smell (mixture of dust and feet) and spiders on the ceiling.
But the most painful part was the noise. Extreme noise!!!! The doors creak, crack, every step on the parquet floor of the hallway can be heard in the rooms very poorly insulated phonetically. The door lock wakes up the whole room and the neighbors when it is opened to go to the toilet for example.
Over 2 nights: no more than 5 hours sleep per night! And I’m not talking about the shared shower (hot water takes so long to arrive that I thought the balloon was empty)
In short, avoid if you can...
For the positive: good breakfast (a minimum when you charge 13€, even for children) and clean towels (report that the linen is clean... we are there!)

Cozy, clean and nice, but some missing

There are many small shortcomings. The doors knick and bind, shared bathroom/toilet is not good when it has to be shared between 6 people. Shower cabin outlet, there comes water on the floor by the toilet. Solve button on shower, shower snake turns wrong, not always hot water. The toilet in the basement should be separated so we know it an alternative.
