Excellent hotel
Our room on the 1rst floor was spacious, clean and quiet.
Superb breakfast with a wide variety of food.
We had several dinners and we enjoyed the dishes each time. ( waiters very friendly).
Bar and lounge very cosy.
The week spent there leaves us with fond memories…

Too many small mistakes
When you pay around NOK 3,200 for one night in a hotel that promotes itself as a spa hotel, you expect at least that there will be both balm
, bodylotion and bathtubs in the room. It is a small detail, but it helps create the experience you pay for.
What was called a “suite” was a big disappointment. The apartment looked very dirty and worn and lived in no way up to what one normally associates with a suite.
Check-out at 10:00 is also very surprising for a spa hotel – especially when breakfast does not end until 10:00. It leaves no opportunity to enjoy a calm morning, which is otherwise an essential part of a spa stay.
I was also surprised that there was no access to cold drinking water in the gym(it never became cold). It should be of course.
My overall impression is that the hotel seems split between being a spa hotel and a conference hotel. You should consider what experience you want to offer your guests, because right now it seems unfortunately that you do not succeed with any of the parts. This is a pity because the hotel and staff have a clear potential, but there are too many basic shortcomings for the stay to live up to the price.
If you correct these things, we will be happy to come back at a later date.
