A Welcomed Detour In Bornich
Astrid and Wolfgang offered us very comfortable accommodations and generous hospitality on the 2nd floor of their lovely home. We enjoyed a nice cup of cappuccino and a chat with them while their dog (Albert) patrolled their back yard. The entire upstairs was ours as there were no other guests for that night...immaculate. We didn't leave for dinner, preferring instead their wine and beer (at reasonable prices) and our packed lunches that we survived our hike. There was a very nice balcony off our room for our "picnic"
They allowed us do two desperately-needed and much-appreciated loads of laundry.
If you don't relish the 14-mile hike stage and would consider splitting it in two, Loreley B&B is a great option. We recommend and would do it again.
