Very comfortable, no frills stay.
I booked a balcony room and stayed 5 nights.
Good location, easy to walk into old town, and plenty of restaurants and supermarkets in the area
Hotel had a nice relaxed atmospheres, little fuss. Staff were helpful but left you to your own devices most of the time, which suited me.
Facilities as expected from this grade hotel.
Room had everything you needed ( no fridge though) Don't expect any real services. Room very comfortable and quiet. Would recommend for a no frills, very comfortable stay.

Cool boutique vibes. Nice breakfast. Parking as well, but oh boy, it will put your parallel parking to the test.

a good, affordable hotel to stay in munich. room is very basic but clean and comfortable. the bathroom door is a bit weird as other reviewers pointed out, but we really didn’t find it an issue with it lol. the A/C is hands down the best part… we were very grateful to have it. it’s also extremely close to tons of restaurants, cafes and the train. we were able to walk and take the train anywhere we needed to go. would absolutely stay again!

Great location, great staff, very good rooms, fab brekkie!
Stayed here for a couple of days/nights in June. Have only good things to say about the place, from the rooms (simple but cleverly designed), the service (consistently friendly), and the fab brekkie. Really, one of the best I had in years.
Rooms are clean and the rooms are very well insulated noise-wise. No problemo.
Everything is Italian-themed, from the menu to the drone views on the large screen in the reception area. All of which corresponds to the laid-back (albeit always attentive) attitude of the staff. The place has charm and is located a stone's throw away from Goetheplatz (and hence a taxi ride of about 12 Euro away from HBF, you can also easily reach it with U-Bahn).
The Tripadvisor average rating is -- at currently 3.6 -- definitely undeserved. I note that the booking dot com rating sits at 8.4 which is definitely truer. I would go back without hesitation. Prices fluctuate (today's shown at less than half the price we paid) but that comes with the territory.
