Charming hotel with a microbrewery and beergarden. Some aspects are a little dated, but everything is spotless and well maintained. Rooms have a pleasant country house feel. Situated a few km out of Trier, it's walkable to town (around 40 mins). Surrounded by steep green slopes of riesling vineyards it's a peaceful place to stay. We ate at the restaurant, where there was a nice buzz on a Friday evening. Vegetarian/vegan meals are available alongside hearty biergarten dishes as well as craft beer and wine from local producers.
The hotel has a small indoor pool and a sauna, free to use for guests. We didn't this time round, but it looked good.
Buffet breakfast was good as well. Staff are pleasant and spoke some English to make up for our limited German.

If a yearly meeting takes place again in Trier, we will choose Blesius Garten.

On May 19th/20th, we had our annual meeting of former employees of the Teacher Training Institute ILF from all over Rhineland-Palatinate. With 22 people, we were able to spend a lively and conversation-filled evening in a very pleasant atmosphere. The catering and logistics of the hotel were perfect. The hotel was very accommodating during the preparation of the meeting. Overall, the correspondence via email and phone was straightforward, prompt, and effective.

an all-in resort in pleasant environs

we stayed above the sun terrace looking down at the bier garten. It is a nice treed setting by a creek and below vineyards. a bus stop outside takes you right to the Roman gate in old town Trier. bus 81 or bus 6 on weekdays. the reception helpful with bus info, but note return not to the same stop but dismount at oliweg entrance and follow short path to back of hotel. otherwise u r in for a long ride. For return take stop 5 near the gate and info centre. This resort has everything with a pleasant bier garten, great breakfasts, sports lounge and cozy nooks if eating inside and the garten has a retractable roof. Had the pool to myself and the streamside path is pleasant and crossing over the road you can access vineyard walkways with great views.
I wasn't in love with my bed, but my spouse had no problem...that's my only complaint.
There is a big staff and they are personable, pleasant and helpful. Definitely hard-working. I traded in a day's cleaning for a brew from their haus and i liked the dunkel the best. there are cushions and comforters everywhere, everything is thought of and looked after, there are even e-bike chargers in the parking lot.

No longer a given!

In the really very nice and homely hotel the spirit of a remarkable attention to the guests works. Employees encounter
them in a pleasantly natural friendliness and offer an exceedingly
attentive, courteous and polite service.
Since the appreciation by the staff seems to be reflected in the well-being
of the guests to mirror.

....the right richer

For our holiday in Trier this hotel was exactly
the right choice.
