The focal point is the panoramic view

It is a three star hotel, simple and a bit dated. The value for money, cmq, is very good. Since the highlight is the panoramic view, we recommend booking a room on the front, on the facade overlooking the harbor, because from the terrace you can admire the main street overlooking the sea, palm trees and sunrise, with the sun rising from the mountain on the right side of the Gulf. Alternatively you can admire the view of the port and the town from the roof top with swimming pool, also a bit dated, but very pleasant. On the roof there is also a nice bar where you can enjoy a drink while admiring the view. Simple rooms, with fridge and safe. Bathroom in line with the date of construction of the hotel. Basic buffet breakfast, but sufficient. The lady at reception is not particularly keen on dealing with the public. So overall a somewhat dated hotel, with a spectacular location, with a good price.

Negative experience

Irresponsibility and lack of professionalism. We arrived at the hotel and the owner, while we had made the reservation and confirmation of the reservation the same day, told us that our room was unfortunately not empty. After about an hour of waiting we were transferred to a villa of himself outside the city and from the next day to a room that looked over the uncovered space of the building.

Was recommended sitia by good friends. Was disappointed though

Hotel well located BUT.....

Great location, great views of the sea and the city of Sitia

An ageing hotel that needs a quick renovation!
Equipment that has not changed since the 1980s
Bathroom to completely review!
And I will not talk about breakfast!!! A great buffet, yes, but tasteless or even bad products: undrinkable orange juice, damaged fruit, margarine, jam whose taste is not recognized, croissants and dry bread...
As for the room... of a sadness, like canteen of the 70s

Our experience of Itanos.

The staff was fantastic and very welcoming..the breakfast was go and we slept great in the beds..when that is said I also have to say that what they call a balcony was a very narrow balcony as there could just stand a chair in the shore..we had “look” out to a backyard where all the mados from the kitchen could be smelled..the bathroom was so small so the door could not be opened since the support of the toilet and the room was very sound and everything could be heard ..the pool is very small
but cozy environment..man should be quick if you should have a couch..(the pictures from the travel agency were very grateful)
The experience would have been better if we could have got a room out to the water.
Not a place we come back..this though not because of the hotel but we are enough for something with a little more city and shops..
