This place was a little small. Although the quaint little villa was on the smaller side it was functionally adequate. Close to town but also close to a campground.

They are really cute cottages (set up in a duplex fashion). Convenient location and walkable for the most part. There is construction across the street but wasn't noisy.

We were a bit disappointed as the property was listed as having a beach view. We saw construction and apartments - no beach view. It also listed laundy as an amenity. The only laundry available was sending it out and getting it back the next day. Also, since it was a "cottage", we assumed there would be a sitting area to relax in. It was really just a bedroom and two plastic chairs to relax in. Lastly, it was difficult to find. Our GPS led us to a street that you couldn't turn on. You might consider adding better directions on the check in email.

Avoid this terrible accommodation.

Avoid at all costs.
These Vik cottages are the worst place we stayed in Iceland.
Crappy accommodation.
You’re cut off from the services of the lounge unless you walk some distance outside.
They refused to even give us glasses for us to have a drink in the cottage.
Unbelievably bad for its money.

Not recommended, stay somewhere else!

Not what it seems. The cottage in advertised images is actually 2 rooms with a very thin wall between you and the neighbor. The view is of a huge concrete apartment building being constructed. This was $300+ US per night, there's many places around with better offerings with breakfast included. I gave it 2 stars bc the staff is very friendly.
