Enjoyable stay in quiet Pervalka
First of all, the few previous reviews I think aren’t fair assessments of the hotel. Vila Baldininkas from our experience is really nice, and the family running the property friendly (and speaks good English). Our family studio faced the smaller garden and behind, the lagoon side of the spit. It was pretty pleasant (and lagoon is clean).
Sure the room itself isn’t 100% speck and span, but remember this is sitting near the sea and in a garden. Curonian Spit itself is focused on nature. In one or two corners of the room there are cobwebs and the occasional spider there, but in the main areas the room is actually very clean and tastefully furnished. Nothing that bothered us in terms of cleanliness.
Our room has a fairly comfortable double bed as well as a sofa bed, good for a family of four. There is also a fridge and tv, but missing a hairdryer. I think for Eur80 the room is actually good value, and they offer you complimentary coffee and tea at the reception (no breakfast served when we were there). If you are here during non-peak periods, no harm asking if they can offer you a better deal.
My main lament, if anything, is that there isn’t blackout curtains (why don’t Baltic hotels always forget to install them is beyond me) and it can get quite bright in the room.
Basically don’t be hung up by the “villa” word in the name and have all sorts of misplaced impressions. Many hotels here call themselves that, and they are all small family-run hotels.
Pervalka is pretty small and a nice small village, so it’s pretty quiet most of the time. No beach here though. Pervalka beach is on the other side of the spit, about 2km away facing the more turbulent sea side.
The hotel also rents out bicycles. I wish they would refresh the bikes. The quality is hit or miss (we had problems with some of the bikes), but ok enough for basic cycling around. Test the bikes out before renting. At Eur10 per day, not exactly expensive rentals.

SO DIRTY - WE COULD NOT EVEN SLEEP
Rooms are very far from what you'd expect for the claimed price. In reality, it's very far from expectations no matter the price.
We had a sea view. The sea was green, seemed dirty with even some (chimical?) white foam on it in some areas. Don't plan to bath into it, at least, not before the "villa" (unless you like to bath in sewers).
- As we're talking about a "villa" and sewers, let's remind that the word "villa" is to be associated with luxury. "Decrepit", THIS IS THE RIGHT WORD for this place. Each time you open a tap it smells sewers like very strongly...
- The most important point is the UNACCEPTAVLE hygiene conditions. The DOZENS of mosquitos, spiders and centipedes will become your best friends. We closed our luggage and we did not took any clothe from them as we were scared for insects to get in them and to bring them in the next days of our road trip. This is only a part of a long list of unacceptable stuffs that are though obvious. The shower that, let's remind it, smells sewers, is moldy. The toilets are disgusting and we did not even dare to use the towels, nor to sleep in the bed.
The staff is nice and convenient, it is to be said. The breakfast was nice and served in the room but still... You can't have a good grade considering my previous comments.

Just arrive and relax...
The location is very good, near the Curonian Lagoon. We've got a room with great views of the lagoon. Near to the Vila, there is a place for BBQ, the sauna and many bikes for rent.
Staff very friendly, always ready to help and answer questions.
I really recommend it to everyone. Relaxation for our family is very much enjoyed and only the best memories will remain.
Thanks to Villa Baldininkas!

This hotel is really dirty and the sewers smell is really disgusting each time you turn the tape on!!!
But we arrived and it was a big disappointment. Even the moment that I write this comments after our whole trip in baltic countries.
Firstly of all, not mention 'villa' which we associate with things luxury. Here, the basic thing of hygiene is not guaranted. Smashed dead mosquitoes were everywhere, on the wall, curtains, table. The spider nets were on all the corners. We reserved a big room of 6 persons for 2 of us, which the main bedroom is on the mezzanine just under the roof. We were so afraid that the spiders would go to our bed or mouths that we finished by sleeping on the sofa on the living room.
Secondly, black mouldy are found in the showers. Not just a little bit but several big block ones! They should be there since a while!!
The last and most disgusting is each time you open a tap a strong sewers smell came out. I took my shower in face of all this black mouldy with this strong disgusting smell and I nearly vomited up. We brushed our tooth using our mineral bottle water.
I can't say I went though lots of hotels or airbnb. But this is the most disgusting one! If the hygiene can not be guaranteed, nothing else can make it up! We putted so much expectation on this 'villa' of curonian split with the price that we payed, we felt so disappointed and disgusted that we hardly sleep.
Don't fall in the same situation as us. Don't let this hotel ruins your good mood of vacation. Avoid this hotel if you have others choice!!!! Among 11 hotels that we stayed in Baltic countries,we got less expensive as 42 euros per night which is much more cleaner than this one, we got also Radisson blue that we pay for 125 which provide a much more service that this. This owner doesn't deserve the money earn dishonestly!!!!!

Just sleep and go
The sea and the promenade is very close. There is no dining places around.
It is possible to sit outside the room and make a grill. We traveled with three dogs.
