Unusual hotel
Most unusual thing is that the only person I met during my stay was kitchen lady during the breakfast. Otherwise the place is set on self-serving: door code was sent by text message, key card was in a box (box number and code also sent by text message), when leaving I had to throw the card in the good-bye box. Of course, there was a phone number provided for any problems or emergencies. Hotel itself is very new and clean and comfortable, too. Also very well situated – in the centre of Šilalė town, with several eateries and food stores close by and very nice area for evening work. Breakfast is very good and unusually varied for such small establishment.
Negatives? Could not find any serious. Maybe the fact that local youngsters like to gather at the adjacent parking and are quite noisy for some time into the night. However, windows are sound-proof and A/C is effective.
