Worst hotel in Fes — your stay will be ruined.

I'm shocked this place is still open. Don’t be fooled by the photos or the false kindness of the staff at the reception. As soon as they have your money, you are left to your own devices. They just want your money — nothing else.
I even had to help other guests access their rooms because no one was available. The staff disappears whenever something is needed. From day one, I was promised that I could change to a better room after day two — but once I paid, the guy disappeared, and the weird woman who works there lied to my face, telling me that there were no more rooms available. While an empty, clean and wide open room was literally before my eyes.
The room I had? You filthy. The sheets smelled bad, everything seemed dirty and left abandoned. On the second day, I waited for more than an hour for the breakfast I was promised. I even called the front desk — they told me they were coming “right away” — obviously no one came until an hour later, and then the guy flatly blamed me for waking up late... while I was at my table at 10am.
Sleep? Forget it. The walls are paper, and my room was next to the kitchen. The noise of the fridge all night, and as soon as I tried to sleep, they started cooking at midnight as if nothing had happened. I even asked nicely if they could make less noise — they didn’t care.
And the final bouquet? When I wanted to check out, there was absolutely no one to take the keys back. Just me, standing, shocked, waiting like an idiot in an empty hall. No goodbye, no staff, nothing.
Please don’t even consider booking here. You'll regret it. Fes is beautiful. This place is not.

Damage

Very good location 2 minutes from the entrance to the medina. The first contact to pay, no more, no less. Contact with people for a pleasant breakfast. The room was ok but nothing more. The heating with the reversible air conditioning is very noisy and not very efficient. The bathroom, how can I put it, very dilapidated and without maintenance. Toilet paper holder unusable because it is all rusty, the same goes for the shower curtain holder. Shower curtain non-existent. The bottom of the sink cabinet completely damaged and the lamp holder broken. We stayed 4 nights, cleaning was not done during this time. Breakfast on the terrace, be careful if it is cold or raining. There are no other places to get it. The photos on the site are very flattering and do not reflect reality. Finally just well placed.

Ideal for visiting the medina and surrounding areas

Superb location 2 steps from the blue gate of the medina. The rooms are not very large but are quiet and more than sufficient to rest after long days of sightseeing. Very helpful and accommodating owner. We appreciated the good advice for visits and the help in organizing our stay with the different guides.
