An oasis of tranquility in the chaos of Marrakech

Our stay at this hotel was simply wonderful, especially thanks to the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. From the first evening we felt welcomed: the owner even offered to help us by contacting Glovo for an order we had made, a gesture far from obvious.
One attention we will not forget was when, having forgotten the toothbrush, the owner kindly offered to buy it for me and bring it to me, without wanting anything in return.
We also needed to have breakfast before the scheduled time because we had to leave for an excursion, and the staff was immediately available to bring us breakfast in the room at the time we preferred. Breakfast is great, plentiful and different every day.
The room was nice and very clean, and the riad is typical and really beautiful, attention to detail.
A place that we absolutely recommend for the authentic attention to guests and for the special atmosphere it creates.

a hidden place to discover

A surprising place hidden in the heart of Marrakech. Unique, beautifully decorated rooms, easy booking. A true Moroccan immersion
Do not hesitate to call on the venue to organize parties, seminars or birthdays. the terrace is under renovation but should hold some nice surprises

What a desappointment

But what is happening at Riad KA
I've been coming to this place for several years.
What a disappointment this year!!!
The Riad has lost its soul, its atmosphere
The Riad is poorly maintained, the rooms:
very questionable cleaning, linens and shower products of very basic quality
the terrace: not cleaned even though the weather was very nice for a month of December, the furniture deteriorated
We would have liked to have breakfast in the sun, but that seemed impossible (the waitresses didn't really want to take the stairs……)
Far too high a price for the service
All the little touches paid off
Only the exceptional welcome, the professionalism, the sympathy of Fred remains unchanged in this Riad

Beautiful place, Good hospitality. But you'll have to have them organize yours cabs and excursions because of location

The managers, concierges, chefs, and cleaning crew here were very nice. The room was beautiful. The main area is exactly as the photos indicate. Breakfast was provided, some folks had dinner provided. For daytrips, the Frederick organized those well and had drivers set up to do them. The main drawback, however, was location. Walking to the souks was very difficult, since kids were always trying to be our unofficial "guides" and would not leave us alone. Getting rides from taxis that didn't know the Riad personally was also very difficult, since very few of them could actually find the Riad. Because of this, Frederick is especially available via phone to refer his cab drivers, even late into the evening. With English we were able to communicate most things to the hosts, though French and Arabic will get your furthest in this particular Riad (and the country, haha)
Though I love their free breakfast and complimentary tea, I also think there could be a little more awareness about the water and travelers who may get sick from juices, dishes, or underboiled coffee or tea because of the water. Unfortunately, being from USA means I had to be hyperaware of these things. Very hospitable place to stay however. They provided me water, bags, food, whenever I needed. It's rare that I've come across that kind of hospitality.
For pricing of excursions and cabs, I felt most things were fair. The pricing was maybe a smidge over what a local would pay (as expected), but I could always be guaranteed an easy cab ride at the same rate with no hassles. That's a good feeling in a city where most people are trying to make a few extra dollars off of tourists.

Bonjour
patrick
