Incredible

The people were super nice, the atmosphere was very good, they helped us with everything and were very quick; we went out at night to party, and the receptionist came to pick us up where the taxi dropped us off to make us feel safer. I would repeat this experience without a doubt.

A special mention to Ghizlane, the manager, who is exceptionally kind. Always smiling, available, and attentive, she does everything to ensure that guests have an excellent stay.

Deceived. False location! Very far!

Subject: Claim for misleading advertising and incorrect location of the Riad Les Dunes hotel – Request for refund and compensation
Through this letter, we would like to file a formal complaint regarding our reservation at the Riad Les Dunes hotel made through eDreams.
We chose this accommodation specifically for its supposed proximity to the souk and Jemaa el-Fna Square, as both on the eDreams platform and in the information provided by the establishment, it was advertised that the hotel was located in the very center and only 850 meters from the souk and Jemaa el-Fna Square.
However, the reality has been completely different. The accommodation is located more than a kilometer and a half from that area, in a non-touristy and particularly unsafe area at night. This difference in location has severely affected our travel experience and, honestly, has ruined a large part of our stay.
Additionally, the accommodation does not match what was advertised in the photos and description published on the platform. We have clearly felt deceived regarding the actual conditions of the establishment and its location.
Due to this situation, we request:
* The refund of the proportional amount paid for the hotel.
* An additional compensation of 120 euros corresponding to the taxi and Uber expenses we have had to incur to travel daily to the tourist area where the Riad Les Dunes was supposedly located according to the advertisement.
We also want to note that we attempted to file a complaint directly at the Riad during our stay and were not allowed to present any complaint or receive assistance in this regard.

Busy, hectic area -an incredibly busy location set in a local bustling area.

We stayed at Riad les Dunes Marrakesh.
It was in the Medina - a busy fascinating area.
Toufiq the receptionist was exceptional in his care for us; organising tuk tuks and recommending restaurants.
He was truly outstanding.
The weather was uncharacteristically wet and there was even snow on the roads by the airport! We didn’t feel appropriately with our clothing.

Small rooms, riad too far, lack of catering

The riad is about 25 or 30 minutes walk from Jeema El Fna Square.
The rooms are very small and dark, no place to put your bags.
We were on half board; count about 1 hour between order and meal!
The menu offers 4 main dishes, but in fact you have no choice because when asked the first, they answer that they do not have "today" and the same for the other 2.
If it rains, expect to eat your meals with wet buttocks, because removing cushions to dry them does not seem to be an option. that's if you're lucky enough to have cushions...
