Terrible experience!
We stayed at this riad recently, and while the place was fully booked, there was absolutely no willingness from the staff to address serious issues in our room. The walls were visibly wet, with mold growing behind the bed — this is not just about comfort, but a real health concern. Despite raising it, no compensation or proper solution was offered.
We were simply told by the staff to message their manager ourselves, as they “couldn’t do anything,” which is quite unacceptable from a hospitality standpoint.
On top of that, we later realized that the room we received was not the one we paid for. We had booked a superior room with a window, but instead we were given a much smaller room without any window, clearly not matching the booked category.
The night was just as bad — we couldn’t sleep properly because of a toilet pump that kept running constantly. On top of that, a group arrived in the middle of the night and were extremely loud, and no one from the riad made any effort to ask them to keep quiet.
Another major issue: although it’s stated on Booking that the staff speaks English, there was no one at reception who could communicate even basic English, which made resolving problems even more difficult.
The pool was also not usable — the water was murky and dirty, far from what you would expect.
Additionally, the listing mentioned a free shuttle service, yet we were charged for it at reception, which felt misleading.
To make things worse, one of the staff members later asked me (through a translator) to leave a 5-star review, mentioning his personal family situation and difficult childhood. That was highly inappropriate and put me in an uncomfortable position.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend staying here.

Its a Riad.
Its basic and homely.
The owner and staff are lovely.
The outside does look uninhabited and finding it at night requires a certain confidence.
