Oasis of tranquillity with private pool and ingenious distant views

It is really an oasis of peace and relaxation with practically private pool (as there are only two apartments) and ingenious distant views of mountains instead of houses. Everything is very clean and well maintained, even with three times weekly cleaning service. Everything you need in a holiday apartment is available, including pool towels. The hostess Monica is very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. You really have your own apartment without disturbing neighbors.

Felsenblick is a gem

Felsenblick is a top-quality guesthouse located in a quiet part of Klein Windhoek with a nice view at the nearby hill. The guesthouse is family owned & managed and offers 2 self-catering apartments. Furnishings and decoration provide a pleasant atmosphere. Complimentary parking at the property. The lady-owner is very friendly & helpful.
We had a very nice apartment, with spacious living room & kitchen, roomy bedroom, bathroom and separate toilet. All was super clean. The living room had desk & chair, club-chair & bench with coffee-table, TV, and wood-stove. We had a covered terrace with table & chairs (nice for having breakfast). The well outfitted kitchen had fridge & freezer, sink, oven & stove top, toaster, and all pans and cutlery you need. Complementary tea, coffee & cookies. We had a separate bedroom with wardrobe & safe, and a good king-size bed. The separate bathroom had washbasin and shower, and the toilet was separate. All windows and doors have mosquito screens. Felzenblick is a charming & well maintained guesthouse, and we had an enjoyable stay. Highly recommended.

Perfect getaway in Windhoek

The views, calmness and cleanliness of the place is truly commendable. The place is more spacious than what you can derive from pictures. Monica is a great Host as well.

Beautiful restful place with a lovely view

What a wonderful find! We had just spent a week roughing it in southern Namibia and I almost cried with relief when we walked in. Our room had a lovely balcony overlooking Windhoek. It was the size of an apartment and was tastefully decorated. Everything was perfect from A-z. We even started a fire in the little wood burning stove because it was cold out. There is lovely landscaping; and you can hear the birds chirping in the bushes. It’s a lovely neighborhood. The shower was nice with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The bed was super comfortable, and the floor in the bedroom was heated. The kitchen is well equipped, but obviously there’s no food because it’s self catering. To find restaurants and a supermarket, you have to walk a half mile down hill on some spotty sidewalks, but you have to go to Joe’s Beerhouse located at the foot of the hill! The owner of the property, Monica, is so charming and lovely, it was a pleasure meeting her as well. I have nothing negative to say about the experience.
