Very welcoming and delicious food

I had high tea here with friends. Beautiful space, very cozy, delicious snacks and delicacies. And what really stood out was the incredibly good service. Very friendly and extremely welcoming. We had some extra wishes and everything could be arranged. Highly recommended to eat.

Avoid this hotel

Very disappointing stay and absolutely no value for money.
Upon arrival it was immediately noticeable that the room was not cleaned properly. The trash was not emptied and there was even a receipt from the previous guest, who had checked out two days earlier after a four-night stay. That didn't exactly give a fresh first impression.
In addition, the room was extremely warm. It was like a sauna. Even at night it was difficult to sleep comfortably due to the heat.
The decor was also disappointing. Everything felt cheap, with simple IKEA furniture that totally doesn't match the price charged for the room. It completely lacked atmosphere and quality.
Even the soap was of a very moderate quality. They may be small things, but together they give the impression that everything is being cut.
For the amount you pay, you expect a clean, comfortable room and a certain standard. Unfortunately, that was not met during my stay. I regret choosing this hotel and would not recommend it.

Great food and we will definitely be back

So new management immediately but just look and "test". Great food and very friendly and competent service. The new managers came to the table to introduce themselves and wish them a nice evening. Neat and as it should be we think. Good luck and we hope that the old times of the Red Lion are revived because it was always one of the leading Restaurants and Hotels of the 8RHK. Cozy hotel

The hotel has a lovely reception and very friendly staff. The rooms are very spacious, only there is a real bathroom missing. There is a shower and toilet, but they are separate cubicles. The sink is in the room. Unfortunately there was also a window missing, but there was a roof hatch which can be opened.

I chose this w/o knowing what to expect. Needed a place for 2 nights to be close to family. Small town atmosphere which had a great ladies store walking distance. The Hotel itself had great food and many patrons were eating on the patio on Saturday afternoon. The diningroom was busy w locals inside as well in the evening. Our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast for 15 euro was good value.
The only thing we didnt like was the bed cover was too heavy and extra pillow choices would be better too.
