Arrived for a few days and stayed a few months

I love La Unsha!!! It has everything you need when you are in Lima! Located in a great are of Barranco within a couple minutes to the action in the center of town. The beds are comfortable and have curtains to give you that extra privacy. There are bathrooms in each room or right outside and enough to ensure there isn’t a line waiting to use them. The lobby has a nice reception, bikes to rent, public transportation passes, info on Lima and surrounding Peru areas as well as a nice TV room with Netflix, fútbol games, cable, and books. Kitchen is well equipped with plenty of space for multiple people to work on their Dinner plans. a lot of seating to have big group dinners, storage spaces for your food and this opens up into the super large back yard with a bunch of couches, hammocks, and areas to read, play, and hang out. This really is an amazing hostel, but what puts this place over the top is the owner Sandra. She makes sure that your time at the hostel is great. She really cares about her place and Barranco. If you need anything during your stay, just ask her and she will help. Such a great place to stay while you are exploring Barranco.

Very clean and welcoming Hostel

We stayed at the La Unsha for 1 Month and it was a really great time. Sandra is such a nice Host, she really tries her best to make your stay as good as possible.
The Hostel itself is located at a great, and calm spot in the heart of Barranco. You will have a really great time at the la Unsha, I highly reccomend it :)

Chill hostel in Lima's most awesome neighborhood

This is a very nice hostel located in a quiet street in Barranco. The property is quite big and has a nice garden. You're just a short walk away from the Plaza de Barranco - the center of this amazing neighborhood. The staff is really nice and will help you out with anything you need. Tip: don't buy the metropolitano bus card, the hostel has a couple you can use whenever you need it.

Great New Hostel in Barranco

This is a great new hostel in Barranco. I've stayed here multiple times now and keep coming back to it every time I am in Lima. It has ample room outside (a big backyard and common area with couches/chairs), as well as a nice kitchen with a dining room area. Also there is a TV area with Netflix and all other channels you may want. Included breakfast, comfy beds, good hot showers, etc.
A home away from home. Gracias por todo!

Great place

After reading all the 5 star reviews, the hostel did not disappoint. Sandra is such a nice lady and very helpful. The hostel is a big spacious house. Comfy beds, hot shower, good wifi, computer for guests, nice garden with lounge area, good kitchen, Netflix. Could do with more hooks for hanging clothes please. Barranco is a nice area, the hostel is near cafes, shops and public transport.
