Perfect location next to the Palace of Malbork. City center is just a stroll away. A good and rather traditional restaurant is available just on the other side of the river. Good breakfast on the bottom floor. Very nice and newly renovated rooms, good beds.

Really nice modern hotel

The hotel is very new and the road was a still inconstruction so we were a bit worried when we got there. We need not have worried, it's a lovely, new modern hotel on the riverside. Our room had a view across the river. Reception were very friendly. They directed us to the pizza place downstairs for our evening meal which was fabulous. The room was very comfortable, 3 beds for 2 people on a mezzanine floor. There was also a sofa bed down stairs. I was a bit worried about the glass walled bathroom downstairs but there was a curtain across the room so it was fine.
We were in town to do Zamek Malbork parkrun and the start is literally down the stairs from the hotel. We also went to the castle which is about 10 mins walk along the river front.
Then only problem was breakfast was only served until 10am . As we had a couple of walkers doing Parkrun we knew we couldn't get back in time so ended up in a bakery in the town. They could make a fortune from all those hungry parkrunners if they extended service to 11am.

Wonderful new hotel

This hotel is a real hidden gem! It's perfectly situated just a short, five-minute walk from Malbork Castle, with absolutely stunning views of the Nogat River. It's brand new! You won't find it on Google Street View yet, but it's going to look amazing when it does. The whole set of buildings were built on the bank of the Nogat river. The area in front of the new hotel is still a work in progress, with a road that's more like a tank track at the moment. But don't worry, it's perfectly fine! The hotel includes parking in front, so you can leave your car there while you explore. No need to worry about parking! Everything you need is just a short walk away. The side facing the riverbank is simply stunning. The reconstruction is now complete, so you can enjoy gorgeous views of the river from your room, as well as lovely benches with LED lights..
As we were travelling with our lovely 15-year-old son, we needed three beds... I picked the Superior Double Room, which I thought would be perfect for us! I thought from the pictures that there was a double bed upstairs and a sofa bed downstairs, which would be nice! We were blown away! We got a two-floor room where the couch could be used as a sofa, the upstairs was a double bed and there was also another full-size bed. The room upstairs was so spacious! There were no little nooks where we had to move sideways to avoid bumping the TV. And the best part? We had a gorgeous view of the river! Both floors had air conditioning, which was great! Each floor was controlled by a separate remote on the wall, which was a really nice touch and made searching for remotes a thing of the past. The whole room was absolutely gorgeous, ultra-modern and spotlessly clean, including the bathroom and toilet. There were USB ports downstairs in the living room and upstairs by the double bed for charging devices, which was really handy!
I've read lots of reviews before hand and people have been raving about the bathroom/WC behind the clear glass! I was a little worried about what our teenage son would say, but I knew he'd be fine. He didn't even notice! On one side of the room, there's a matt sticking film that makes the room a kind of opaque, which I think is great! On the side by the room, there's no matt film, but there is a thick curtain that covers the bathroom and can be pulled to the staircase, which is really handy! I think it's a great solution! People believe me, nobody can see anything :)
When we checked in, the lovely receptionist told us that we could help ourselves to coffee or tea at any time from the kettles in the reception area and on the side. I thought this was a pretty good solution, although I noticed in the reviews that quite a few people were a bit disappointed that the kettles weren't in the rooms.
The WiFi was really good, and there was a better signal in the living room than upstairs from the bed, which was fine, no complains.
There was a working fridge in the living room, but it was empty. It was perfect for guests to store their groceries and medicines!
You'll love seeing the old town's history come alive in the photos adorning the walls!
They serve breakfast at the -1st floor.
The breakfast room is also used for dinner, and it's really well set up! They've got something for everyone! The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast, which isn't quite 5* yet. Sometimes it can take a little longer for items to be replenished, like juice or pastries. The cheese and cucumber slices had a strange watery surface, which I think might have been because they were cut the day before and stored in the refrigerator.
I was really pleased with the excellent price/quality ratio. The staff were so lovely and really helpful.

Hotel located overlooking the river and a long block away from the main entrance into Malbork Castle. The building is new and the room was very large and comfortable. Besides the castle, there are restaurants and other services within a pleasant 10-min walk. The breakfast buffet was good. Definitely recommend this hotel if you're needing a place near Malbork Castle.
