One night and the dog came too
This place was perfect for our needs for one night. It is situated in the old part of town next to the ruins of the church Santa Maria, and near to the old Plaza de Santa Maria. You can also see the castle high on the hill. We were able to park up the hill (around 100 meters away) on the street and quite safe. We were also very close to a lovely walk along near the river with waterfalls, ideal for the dogs needs. Below the apartments they have a lovely restaurant, (where you get your keys during opening hours and no problem) the staff were all very friendly and helpful.
The apartment was small but clean, comfortable and equipped with all we needed for our 1 night.
The wifi was not very good. Very slow speed (if any) but it wasn't a problem for us.

Dog friendly
We just stayed one night with our small dog in a 2nd floor apartment which was adequately equipped and very good value. In a fairly quiet part of town within easy walking distance to most places of interest, even some lovely natural water features just up the hill. With an excellent adjoining restaurant it was a good choice.

Budget with location
Stayed 3 nights with our dog in apartment 1a. Good location just off Plaza Santa Maria which is one the best areas of the town. Apartment sits above Leandro restaurant which I have reviewed separately and adjacent to the ruins of a church, Santa Maria. Unfortunately the apartment itself was disappointing. Tired decor, all the chairs were wobbly, the shower tiles needed a part of the grout cleaning, mould on the ceiling and doors leaked. Towels non absorbent, cheap pillows, beds etc. Utensils in kitchen were scant, no bottle opener, cork screw, scissors etc plus no kettle. Going down to the restaurant to ask to open your wine was not ideal. Owner and staff friendly.

En pleno centro histórico
Apartamentos que tienen ya unos añitos pero que cumplen con el objetivo de ayudar a tener una estancia agradable. Lo mejor, su situación. Lo peor, en nuestro caso, que mi cama no tenía mesita de noche y tenía que poner mis cosas en el suelo, un poco cutre la verdad. Por lo demás, el agua funcionaba a la perfección y salía con mucha fuerza, los colchones eran cómodos... en fin, hemos estado bien.

Gran relación calidad precio
Se trata de unos apartamentos muy baratos y muy bien ubicados. Para el precio que tienen merece la pena.
Fuimos 4 y nos tocó en la primera planta. Tiene un salón / cocina, con un sofá cama y una habitación con dos camitas, así como un baño con plato de ducha.
La cocina era suficiente para 4 personas, con el menaje justo. El frigo tenía un buen tamaño. También había microondas, cafetera moka y tostador, así como una pequeña cocina eléctrica.
Una bomba de calor calentaba el apartamento, y en la habitación había una estufa de aceite porque la de la pared no funcionaba.
En el aseo había una ducha con termo eléctrico, el cual no se cargaba al completo y era insuficiente para ducharnos los 4, teniendo q resignarnos a ducharnos 2 por la mañana y 2 por la tarde para poder tener agua caliente.
Nos pusieron el primer día amenities, pero era insuficientes para todos durante toda la estancia.
Las toallas tenían pelos de otros clientes. En el baño hay una lavadora.
En la habitación se escucha totalmente a la habitación de al lado. En nuestro caso se acostaban bastante tarde con música y mucho ruido, impidiendonos un buen descanso.
El wifi no funcionaba bien y no hay apenas cobertura en el apartamento.
De todas formas, teniendo en cuenta todo, merece la pena por el precio y ubicación.
