The Best Apartments in Playa Del Cura

Without doubt Monte Golf Suits are the best apartments in this lovely bay. Looking over two beaches, Monte Golf has parking, a large pool, snack bar and is only 5 minutes from the beach. Ole is a great restaurant, 4 minutes walk, so is a SPA grocery shop. It is a gated development with automatic gate for cars and a key gate for pedestrians. Lovely atmosphere, friendly people, a great mix of nationalities. The perfect place for a holiday. By the end of 2016 there will be a new walkway directly on the coast, starting at Playa del Cura. You'll be able to walk from Monte Golf Suit Apartments through Amadores, all the way to Puerto Rico. Giving you access to four beaches and hundreds of restaurants and bars all along the coast. No need for a car! There is a great air conditioned bus service from the airport to Playa del Cura. Perfect! Then you can take a bus later on in your holiday to Puerto de Mogan or Playa del Ingles is you wish. But Playa del Cura is all you need with a couple of restaurants and bars a four minute walk away. The hidden gem of Gran Canaria.

Relaxing Holiday... but be aware!!

Spent two weeks at these apartments, our apartment was excellent as was the grounds and pool area. BUT be aware that there are some very unfriendly Norwegian people who think they own the place and will take sunbed and umbrellas from you whilst you are in the pool and if challenged get very aggressive. This made us feel very uncomfortable every day we were down by the pool. We complained to the management and they did nothing!! So we complained to the owner of our apartment and with 2 days 4 new umbrellas arrived. We found out later from other residents that this happened a lot.

Quiet Family Friendly Apartments

Stayed here for new year and had a lovely time. Weather was excellent so that helped a lot as we spent most of the time on the nearby beach (walking distance from apartments). If the weather had been bad we might have struggled for things to do as the resort is small. However, good bus services to other places if you get stuck. Apartment was very clean and spacious with lovely views out to sea and inland from the balcony. Only problem we had was that the safe key had been taken by previous occupants and there was no spare on for us to use, but we had nothing taken anyway. Kitchen small but very well equiped, although we ate out most nights as there were several restaurants at the bottom of the road - Guiseppe's was our favourite, but not much in it really. Pool was not heated so the sea was actually warmer and more fun for a 7 year old boy! Would go back again.

Appartement avec vue superbe

Nous y avons loué 1 appartement au 4ème étage très bien aménagé tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur. Parking privé et sécurisé dans la résidence. Tout était à disposition et à profusion (serviettes de toilette, vaisselle,grand frigo, épices de base, film plastique, alu, etc... tout le basique du quotidien).
Un petit manque : pas de lave-vaisselle mais pour 2, nous nous sommes adaptés ;-)

To pensjonister på Monte Golf en fin og trivelig leilighet.

Var 6 uker på Monte Golf fra 19 oktober og til 28 november og trivdes meget godt, men det var tungt å gå opp bakken fra Spar kjøpesenter og opp med varer i pose og sekk samt vann på flaske. Oppdaget etter en tid at man kunne få kjøpt vann rett over gaten utenfor porten og det var en lettelse. For eldre folk som ikke er spreke til bens er Monte Golf ikke å anbefale, men leier du bil er det en super plass. Sentralt med buss titt og ofte til både Puerto Mogan og til Puerto Rico og ellers videre til Las Palmas. Leiligheten hadde to soverom og var utstyrt med alt som trengs for å ha en koselig ferieavslappning. Sengene derimot var heller i det hardeste laget, men det var en deilig seng i det andre soverommet. Savnet Skandinaviske kanaler på TV.
Bra terrasse og swimming pool. I måneden oktober - November går sola ned helst litt fort fra terrassen og poolen, men ellers er det ikke mye å klage på.
Vil også nevne Leo som driver poolbaren han var en hyggelig og koselig kar, hentet og bringte oss til flyplassen og var 10 EURO billigere enn taxi. Han har et par ganger i uken grillparty hvor det da samles mange til fest. Er man da meget sosial er dette en plass å stille opp. Maten han serverer er tradisjonell, men god og appetittelig.
