Excellent

Well located to explore Ponferrada. Very comfortable and very clean room. It doesn't look like a hostel at all. The receptionist's attention was excellent. They store backpacks before check-in (2:00 PM). 100% recommended for pilgrims and visitors to the city.

I didn't like it.

I reached the arrival time and there was no one, I had to call and wait for them to deign to open; the change of sheets and towels do it every two days (allegedly) even if you ask, and the hygiene of those clothes is regular (therefore I took a skin rash); the cleaning woman could greet her and it was not that she was seen especially happy there; the TV control did not work and it was apparently broken from far behind, because the battery cover was taken out and broken on top of the table since apparently some other customer had already checked; the shower artichoke worked regularly and was half covered. I held out for the three nights I had hired and left without wanting to repeat.

Nice stay

We stayed at this hostel to go and see the Medulas that are about 25 min from there.
The hostel was very clean and we felt very good.
The staff at the cafeteria who gave us breakfast was wonderful, very nice and attentive, and the breakfast 10 , delicious and healthy!

All right.

Price, quality good. Reception 24h , very friendly staff and always willing to answer any questions. There is not much to visit in the area. It is very well located you can walk everywhere, areas of interest. Right in front there is a restaurant with grilled meat I recommend everything very rich.

Recommended

Great, clean, quiet and comfortable. I didn't like the area very much. Despite being 5min from the centre and 10 from the castle, the streets are a bit ... Lonely. There are no bars or shops. If you do not eat breakfast there (which is worth 6€) you can only have breakfast at the Sanchez churrería where they are not especially friendly, but well....
I would come back and recommend it.
