Pine camping

Very nice Camping between the pine trees.
Very friendly staff. Great places and close to Ale stones, sneakehuk etc.

Average too expensive

Struggled to book online due to last minute decision. Just seen it was 450 sek a night. Facilities average, pizzeria closed deposited opening times displayed. Advertised proximity to glass bar also closed. Appreciating peak season 900 sek for a 5m campervan with no hook up and no facilities open is pretty expensive. Would of stayed longer but surrounded by long term caravaners puts me off.

Don't go there for rest

Conveniently located to the beach. On the campsite itself fairly few facilities.
And don't go there for your rest! Our cottage was almost on the train tracks;-) where trains rush by every half hour from 5am to midnight! Really not nice.
Upper floor (bedroom) of the cottage can be reached by a very steep staircase. Bathroom is a bit outdated.

Ystad Camping worth a return visit

Very quiet, nice and nice camping! Really calm and an experience of nature.
There is a lot for children to do such as pedal cars, bouncy castle, table tennis and playground. Down towards the sea about 300m there is a mini golf course. Would have liked a swimming pool on the site - Nybrostrands bath about 4 km from the campsite.
Good and equipped service buildings that are cleaned frequently. A service building that has been newly renovated and adapted when restricted by movement with ramp to service building and spacious toilets.
Good selection with pizzeria and shops inside the campsite.
Not far to Ystad (biking distance). I see that there are earlier comments about busy roads on one side of the campsite and trains on the other side, but nothing that bothered us. We will gladly return to the campsite again!
