Absolutely gorgeous place classic victorian period style hotel would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for that comfy nostalgia amazing hosts highly recommend!!!!!

1 night stay

Good location and nice owners who were extremely helpful with the tight car parking. Paid £130 for a very old bedroom. It was clean though and had okay sheets and towels. Place is extremely run down and needs a complete renovation particularly the common parts. Breakfast was a very poor buffet.

An Exeter treasure

I have been staying at the Telstar for years, when I need to stay over in Exeter (I'm a commuter). It is always comfortable, with loads of character (quirky film and book references), clean and warm rooms, a lovely cooked breakfast, and friendly staff. I can't recommend it highly enough. It is not luxurious (I tend to book the en suite singles, which are incredibly good value), but it is perfect for my needs, and I always leave the place with a smile on my face.

Nice quirky guesthouse

Ideally situated for the university. Good breakfast. Parking is available but incredibly tight. 3rd visit - this time a slightly larger en-suite single, small but perfectly adequate and very good value. Will definately use this venue again.

The property was easy to find and we were welcomed on our arrival. We were given an upgrade to a family room, which was much appreciated! The room was clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend the Telstar!
