Convenient & Comfortable
Stayed 3 nights with 3 adults and a toddler in a Lakeview Suite. It was well-appointed, comfortable, and roomy. The restroom had 2 entrances, which was nice, as I didn't need to go through the bedroom and disturb others in order to use the facilities (I slept on sleeper sofa). Kitchenette was nice with a large dorm fridge + freezer, sink, and plenty of cabinet space. Our balcony was lovely with a great view. We only wish there was a coffee maker in the room. Being able to walk to two close, private gates at Cedar Point was well worth it. We all would definitely stay at Breakers again!

Location and little else
My wife and I recently stayed at the Hotel Breakers with our teenaged nephew. I splurged for the family suite which had a separate bedroom from the living area which had a sleeper sofa and a kitchenette.
First the shutter doors that closed off the main bedroom from the rest of the suite were broken. We had to finesse them shut and leave them that way using the shared bathroom as the only entrance and exit.
Yes it has a kitchenette but dont expect any amenities. Besides a very small dormer fridge and small microwave (hidden in one of the cabinets). Don't expect anything else as far as creature comforts. Not one single plate,cup
, mug or silverware. Every cheap Hotel on the planet has a small complimentary coffee / tea maker. Six flags prefers you use the very expensive star bucks for your morning jolt.
There are 3 restaurants in the Hotel. A Perkins, TGIF's and TOMO hibachi restaurant. Eat your meals at one of these restaurants if you prefer sit down indoor server oriented service because only three places in park offer air-conditioned seating. Non have servers everything is cafeteria style get your food and good luck finding a place to sit. TOMO does take reservations
The only really good thing about Hotel Breakers is the beach area. If your a hotel gust you for get early entry into the park and that's about it.
Unfortunately your choices are limited when it comes to hotel's in the area.

Not worth the extra cost
The hotel is in a great location, has great amenities like the pool, beach, easy access to the parks, but the place is very tired. I'm not somebody that needs 5 star hotels, we stay at Holiday Inn, however this place doesn't feel like it's been touched this century at all. Every aspect of the hotel felt like it needed work, inside and outside. Not only that but the cleaning staff could do a better job in the entire hotel. There was something on the dresser & the floor still looked like it hadn't been vacuumed, not to mention the sheets weren't pulled onto the mattress right so it hung on one side and was pulling off the other side. I will say the staff were all very kind and personable so that helped. Honestly, I don't think I would stay here again.

No coffee pot in room. Not enough chairs in pool area.
Hard to believe they don’t have a coffee maker in the room especially at the premium price of the room. Also, at the one pool that we used, there were a limited number of chairs and umbrellas. This didn’t make sense because there was plenty of wide open spaces for additional chairs and umbrellas. We will never return to this hotel.

Not worth it
Simply coasting on location alone. Room was dirty, deab bugs everywhere. Staff was polite but unhelpful and unable to help with anything. No in room coffee, because they want you to wait in a 45 minute line at their much higher priced on site Starbucks
