Great value in the mountians
I have stayed at this Rodeway inn multiple times. The staff is very nice and patient. The front desk manager Michelle is great but she was not there the last time I stayed. The night manager is very good and nice. Breakfast is provided- I like the oatmeal and waffles. They will clean your room on demand for longer stays which is ok with me.

Very minimal but expensive hotel
Very, very minimal hotel in need of modernization and a much better breakfast. Ridiculously expensive for what you get.

Worst place everrrrrrrrr
The worst hotel experience I have ever had.
This place is filthy and literally has the worst beds in the world.
Do yourself a favor and do not stay here for any given reason.
I requested a refund and the man who told me he was the manager told me to go to hell and hung up on me

Front desk was extremely polite. No grills, inexpensive spot for a brief stay in the Leadville area.

Not worth the money
My recent stay at the Roadway Inn in Leadville was deeply disappointing and raised several serious concerns. The property is in clear need of major upgrades—both in basic maintenance and in critical safety and accessibility areas.
The facility is not ADA compliant, with multiple barriers that would make access difficult or impossible for guests with mobility needs. Beyond that, I observed several apparent fire code issues, including questionable alarm placement, blocked or unclear egress routes, and aging infrastructure that does not inspire confidence.
Security was another major concern. Exterior doors did not consistently latch, lighting around the property was inadequate, and overall the environment felt poorly monitored and poorly maintained.
While Leadville is a great destination, this hotel is overdue for significant investment and oversight. Until meaningful improvements are made, I cannot recommend staying here.
