Jet Airways Flights

Flaunting a flying sun logo and navy blue-chrome yellow livery, Jet Airways is without doubt the pioneer of the rise of private airlines in the Indian market. Incorporated as an air taxi operator in the year 1992, with liberalization of laws, Jet Airways acquired the scheduled airline status by the year 1995 and competed head on with the state owned Indian Airlines. The corporate office of Jet Airways along with a Primary hub and maintenance base at Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport are all based in Mumbai. Boasting a young fleet of 122 in-service aircrafts; Jet Airways operates with 31 Airbus aircrafts and 91 Boeings serving 76 destinations worldwide (52 Domestic and 24 international destinations). Jet Airways started as a full service carrier, but with the changing market needs and competition from low cost airlines like SpiceJet and IndiGo; Jet Airways also launched a low cost subsidiary, JetKonnect. However, for all its full service carriers, Jet Airways provide all the requisite services like complimentary meals, liquor for business and first class and in-flight entertainment. In fact the customer delight aimed at by Jet Airways is one of the main reasons for its success in the market. Jet Airways is still the market leader in the domestic sector with 22% market share. In the year 2012, Jet Airways also launched the eXport device, allowing customers to access media from their own Apple devices. The Jet Airways privilege cards, both Platinum and Gold entitle fliers to superior airport lounge services as well. Looking to sell its share to Etihad Airways (one of the flag carriers of UAE); Jet airways is a proud winner of numerous awards over the years including Best Domestic Airline and Customer & Brand Loyalty Award (2011).
