Best time to visit Bhutan

Bhutan’s climate varies according to the altitudes. In Thimphu Valley, the minimum temperature drops to -10 °C during the winter season. The rainy season is accompanied by heavy precipitation and landslides. Summers in Bhutan are very pleasant and hence, April to June is the best time to visit. The main festival celebrated during this season is the Gomphu Kora Festival. Summer season is ideal for trekking activities.
