Hyderabadi cuisine is famous for some lip-smacking delicacies which have been around from the time of the Nizams. But it's not just biryani that Hyderabad is famous for, there are many other dishes you should try. One of the most well-known dishes is Haleem (a combination of wheat, lentils and meat.) There is also a delicious assortment of kebabs, Hyderabadi biryani (Hyderabad's take on the biryani), Lukhmi or Hyderabadi samosa, Nalli Nihari, and amazing desserts like Phirni, Qubani ka meetha and Double ka meetha. You will also find many sweet treats in the city's bakeries.
